EVENING MEAL
Eating at Holmhead is much more like going to a private dinner party than staying in a guest house.
Food is served family style with beamed, stone arched dining room, furnished with antiques and a large candlelit oak table.
There is no choice of dishes, but such is the standard of Brian and Pauline's cooking, that guests never seem to find this an imposition. If guests have any particular diets or dislikes, it would be appreciated if they would mention them when booking.
Holmhead is fully licensed to sell wines and spirits and guests can choose specialty organically grown wine from our award winners list of wine from around the world.
Many a lasting friendship has been forged across the four corners of the earth, from evenings around the table. There is a relaxing area in the dining room with a library.
The menu is fixed price, the food always freshly prepared and attractively served, using farm and local produceand local produce, Organic whenever possible. The meal consists of a starter, main course, dessert, and coffee with mints which can be served in the upstairs lounge if preferred. Evening meal is served at 7.30pm.
