The Cottage

The cottage is a barn conversion and an integral part of the farm, but with its own back and front doors. The lounge-diner with TV and hi-fi has south-facing French doors opening on to a small patio and the car parking area. To the rear there is a separate, private walled garden exclusively for the use of cottage guests.

The kitchen area has ceramic hob and microwave/grill/oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer and automatic washing machine. The bathroom is large and equipped with bars and handrails suitable for the disabled.

The back door opens onto private walled gardens (right) with magnificent views of the castle ruin. The cosy lounge has electric coal-effect fire, and there is central heating and linen all included in the price. All rooms are on the ground floor with wide doors and easy to reach switches and taps.

Greenhead - a quarter of a mile away has a pub, golf course, church and café, children's play area and riverside, Roman Army Museum, Quarry Wildlife Park, and the highest remaining section of Hadrians Wall.kitchen

Haltwhistle - 3 miles away, has a supermarket, newsagents, chemist and a range of local shops, Sports Centre and Swimming Pool..
